More than this, how does work on what make a difference and doesn\u2019t pay per past doubts?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/miro.medium.com\/max\/614\/1*6p9Smd8KlEqrNbMw0V6zvQ.png\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Example: Workload distribution<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>One of my teams, pays past doubts almost the 70% of the time.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"4e27\">First of all, do we have the same problem?. One way is both identify and quantify the developed work. For that, I propose two tools:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Initiative maps \u201cUrgency vs. Importance\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"4bf7\">Identify&nbsp;what are you doing, classified by importance and urgency, let you know in which task are you using your time. The ideal would be work always on more important items, but always urgencies emerge and you have to assign time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gustavohernandez.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/8C2773B4-E6E1-4318-AF90-37D61FE500D0.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-145\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Important vs. Urgency Matrix<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cDo it, now!\u201d is what we have to do everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The match is between Plan it vs. Delegate. The difference between add value or fill old blank spaces.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Qualify work on \u201cPlanified\u201d or \u201cUnplanned\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"65ab\">Everybody want to work on new projects or scheduled mantenaince. Nobody wants to work on errors discovered by users or giving support who doesn\u2019t have any idea about he has to do. But, if we work on the last experience, won\u2019t have time to give value added to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gustavohernandez.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/510D8675-5426-4E40-A16E-DAC1346B945D.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-146\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Kind of Projects<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Accelerate the \u201cNew Project\u201d can give poor quality, and after all, you can suffer like errors.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"073a\">With this information, we can know if our efforts give the best products. If you think that you have problems, then you have tu rise the&nbsp;<strong><em>operation&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dictionary.com\/browse\/throughput\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>throughput<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. How?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Identify the biggest restriction that affect your teamworks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Release that restriction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Measure the effect<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Back to the step 1<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"60d8\">Any other effort to free other restrictions, doesn\u2019t generate more competitive advantages, you just will be further from \u201cmore from less\u201d. Release other restriction, is simply&nbsp;<strong>avoid the problem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"0b11\">To identify restrictions, we can support on four elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>People<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Metrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Just the&nbsp;<strong>people<\/strong>, through&nbsp;<strong>process<\/strong>, can identify where are the problems. With their&nbsp;<strong>tools<\/strong>, you can build the initiatives that solve them. Finally, through&nbsp;<strong>metrics<\/strong>, you can evaluate which is the more efficient way.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"7acf\">To know how the problemas were generated, you have to identify whict is its&nbsp;<em>Business Process<\/em>. In that process, you can find a responsible, whom we have to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"5e73\">Do we have a proyect for solving the problem? Then classified according their \u201cUrgency\u201d and \u201cImportance\u201d. Will it solution be planned, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>The next book, is excelent for your IT operations management understanding.
