On my short years like a #MillenialManager, I have learned a lesson related with Principles<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why are principles<\/em> important? Because they will help us to make decisions<\/strong>, decisions are our choices and we have to live with the choices that we have done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why are principles<\/em> important? They will help us to make decisions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

It sound a quite obvious, but aim to long term strategy\u2019s objectives requires short term decisions. But, when the short term actions block the way to aim the objectives, we can be one step further\u2026 if those short term actions are more frequent, the risk to watch the race from the pit lane gets higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choices will define how people perceive attitudes. That reason is enough to be careful of each action that we can take, isn\u2019t it?.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principles aren\u2019t important just for your reputation\u2026 also give others a better life\u2019s experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You only can sell what is true, everything else is or will be rubbish. (How many times have you been invited to sell what you don\u2019t have, but maybe others can prepare? How many times have you promised something that is not in your scope of work?)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principles are the values which help you to align the vision and goals. They can help you to make decisions, these decisions which align both actions and what\u2019s important for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When your Principles, Goals & Value are aligned, the environment will understand your movements. When they won\u2019t, your organization will hear the noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your consistent will motivate a team. When you create your decisions with others (Not making decisions for others. Not delegating decisions to others<\/strong>) your organization will be networked, fostering participation and probably pushing the performance higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, when you make decisions for others, your are building a parental work system<\/em>\u2026 when you avoid decisions, you relay on your entitlement and not in your responsibility<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just creating a community of people you can maximize your virtuous circles.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

As the begining\u2026 Principles will define the other\u2019s experience<\/em><\/strong>\u2026 Are you working on create a community?? You should.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
